As We Walk This Path…🌱🙏

And when I meet you, I’d love you with my all;
They’d be zero defenses,
We’ll build our friendship on the solid foundation of trust, honesty and mutual respect.

And today, this is what I’ll have you know;

That we have a long road ahead of us.
Many have travelled this path we’re seeking,
Some have had a gloriously successful journey,
And for others, well, I can’t say much.

So here’s what we’ll do;
We’ll learn as much as we can from both sides,
So we can do better and avoid making similar mistakes.
We’ll pray together frequently, seeking strength and grace for the Journey.
He’s the Road’s engineer, so He’ll know exactly how we should tread.
He made us both, so only He can holistically reveal each’s complexity to the other.

We’d hold each other accountable to our mentors.

We’ll stay in fellowship with The Spirit, so we do not yield to the temptations of the flesh, as has been known to destroy many otherwise beautiful journeys.

At this point, I’ll plead with you;

We did not grow up in the same home, and even if we grew up around each other, we do not know each other so well, in the context of the path we’re travelling.
So please be patient with me, as I’ll do my best to be with you too.
The most insignificant issues have been known to mar the beauty of this God-designed path.

And as beautiful as Love is, friendship stands as it’s most basic unit.

So then, we’d take time to build our friendship, we’ll nurture and care for it like our 1st child.

Whilst I do not deny the existence of mistakes, we’ll do our best to only make the most minimal of them (funny me 😂, as though I can exactly predict what lapses there will be 😂.)

We’ll also read a lot of materials on and about this Journey.
For if we are to be successful at this, we’ll need all the knowledge and experience of others we can get.

We are us, not like any other pair, so we’ll tailor those that may not exactly suit us, considering our faith, and personalities.

I know you’re out there somewhere, and I’ll keep praying for you and for us.

If God is Love, and Love never fails, and He lives in us, then we will also not fail too. Not just because of this truth, but the depth of consistent work we’ll put into this.

We’ll meet soon enough, and you’ll see.
